We’re hiring a Sales Recruiter because we need you to help accomplish our mission…assisting independent sales Agents navigate merchant services with a partner who obsessively pursues something rarely found in our industry, an AgentFirst paradigm. PayCompass challenges the status quo in every single aspect of our business and we need a Sales Recruiter who operates the same way.


We believe that merchant service sales professionals are growing small businesses one solution at a time. And one of the best ways to do that is by providing a full toolbox of solutions and services without the messiness of inefficient processes, daily reporting, sales quotas, or laughable commissions.


That’s why our mission is AgentFirst. We support independent sales agents as they build and support their portfolio of clients. We view each agent as our customer - keeping them safe, supported, and successful allows them to do the same for their merchants.


And that is where you come in!


We are looking for a Sales Recruiter to come in and supercharge our sales team. Over the past five years, we have become one of the fastest growing companies in our industry through mainly word of mouth. Our existing team has allowed us to refine our systems and create processes that ensure our Agents receive top notch support and service at all times. Now we’re ready to really pour gasoline on this fire and take things to the next level.


This is why finding the right fit for this role is one of our top priorities right now. We need someone who is as passionate about telling the PayCompass story as we are about creating it. We also know that we only grow through feedback and collaboration so we’re looking for someone that will help us grow and shape the future of PayCompass.


What will you do in this role?

As the Sales Recruiter for PayCompass, you'll use all resources, including social media and regional trade shows, to create relationships with salespeople in our industry and share the PayCompass story. As the trailblazer for our recruiting efforts, you will test out systems and processes that help grow our Agent team. We have huge differentiators and we need someone that is excited to shout them to the world!


What will you learn in this role?

If you come from a traditional sales organization, our pace of innovation, action, and iteration might be a little uncomfortable at first. You’ll learn to move fast, iterate quickly, and put zero value into sunk cost. You'll get to spread your wings, actively eliminate red tape, and do your thing.


If you come from a large corporation or a bloated management structure, this will feel like the first day out of prison after a 10-year sentence.


If you come from the start-up or tech world, this will feel like a dream in which you can just focus on passionately pursuing the success of others (which helps us succeed too!).


If you have been around merchant services sales but have never taken on a Recruiting role, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for! While we would love to have someone that's already "done it,” we're open to giving someone who is the perfect fit the opportunity they've been waiting for.

Who will you work with?

You will work directly with Chris Torres, our Chief Sales Officer, and will interact daily with Andy Roth, our Regional Sales Director, and the rest of our Sales Operations team. You’ll collaborate closely with Justin (Founder/CEO), Rob (COO), and our Marketing team.


Where will you work?

If you’re located in the Phoenix metro, you’ll work at PayCompass HQ in Tempe, Arizona. Our team has a fantastic culture and we genuinely love being around each other (and our dogs)! If you’re not in the Phoenix area, you’ll work remotely and make regular trips to HQ to ensure collaboration is soaring!

Requirements

- You love building and nurturing relationships with salespeople across the country.

- You have 3+ years of experience in the merchant services industry and, ideally, experience with recruiting sales professionals.

- You’re looking to help establish methodologies that drive success and are eager to coach others to do the same.


Compensation & Benefits

• $70K - $90K (depending on experience)

• Access to the PayCompass health insurance plan, which include prescription, dental, and eye insurance offerings.
