House Manager for Couple in Television. (West Hollywood & Malibu)
Couple who works in television seek House Manager for several properties (blend of onsite and remote). Primary contact will be the wife, who is on hiatus from a major position in Canadian television. Properties are two rentals in Canada and Europe and residences in Malibu and West Hollywood. There are renovations in the Malibu estate and a full renovation for the West Hollywood property. Personal Assistant responsibilities are also included, as well as care for the family dog.
Requirements include:
- BA/BS from US college
- 2 years house manager, assistant or comparable experience
- Facility with Project Management
- Being supremely organized and responsible
- A sense of urgency around completing tasks
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the details of the West Hollywood renovation
- Ongoing contact with contractors, vendors for both properties
- Sourcing home furnishings
- Keeping homes stocked with groceries and supplies
- Overseeing housekeeping team, gardener, pool maintenance
- Weekly contact with Canada and Greek properties to ensure they are running smoothly
- Travel planning
- Car maintenance
- Planning parties and small gatherings
- Gifting
- Managing moves between households
- Errands
- Shuttling the dog between the two primary residences
40 hours week; flexible hours; blend of in-person and remote
$80K/year, may vary with experience
