Senior Embedded Software Engineer

We seek a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design and optimize consumer networking products, including routers, access points, and switches. In this role, you’ll lead feature architecture, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, reliable products from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded networking products with advanced Wi-Fi features.
• Partner with hardware teams to implement and optimize functions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot networking issues for robust connectivity.
• Lead architecture design, code reviews, and feature implementation.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster team growth.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Linux, and device drivers.
• Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi) and Linux network stack internals.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough knowledge of network protocols and standards, including HTTPS, DHCP, IPv4, and IPv6.

Preferred

• Experience with Wi-Fi 6/7 chipsets and ISP requirements.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
