Job Description:

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join their team. The role primarily focuses on the mobilization phase, which includes acquiring all necessary resources and equipment for a newly constructed building. Key responsibilities involve overseeing operational work for electrical and mechanical maintenance of the site. The role also includes hiring vendors to complete any scope of work related to facility management and maintenance.

Schedule : 5 days onsite – Monday through Friday 8am to 5 pm at University of Maryland (Unlimited Vacation with no preset maximums)

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 2+ years of experience with electronic circuit design and development
• Professional Engineer specifically within the state of Maryland is preferred
• Experience with Low/Medium/High Voltage, Fault Analysis, Load Shedding Design, Capital Projects Feasibility Study, Sub-station Design, Electronic System Design, Electrical Sensors, Electrical Circuits, Control Panels, Engineering Design, Electrical Systems, Turbines, Boilers, and Balance of Plant
• 5+ yrs industrial turbine, boilers, chillers and pumps

Pluses:

• Experience in construction management, particularly those with expertise in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC)
• Experience in similar industries and a background in managing complex projects

Compensation:

$135K to $148K per year annual salary.
