Our Platform Engineering Team is working to solve the Multiplicity Problem. We are trusted by some of the most reputable and established FinTech Firms. Recently, our team has spearheaded the Conversion & Go Live of apps which support the backbone of the Financial Trading Industry.

We are looking for Engineers who can

• Provide technical and people leadership to SRE team members 
• Continuously work to improve the reliability, stability, and performance of Enterprise Platforms (EP)
• Areas of focus include SLO standardization, implementation of automation, risk management (EOL/vulnerabilities), incident/problem and capacity management 
• Coordinate/interact with other EP functions to drive overall efficiencies for the organization 
• Participate in periodic on-call escalations based on incident severity and established SLA’s
• Lead by example, creating a healthy and professional people culture around him/ her, encouraging creativity, growing and inspiring others.
• Compile KPIs and evangelize the adoption of best practices in relation to performance and reliability across the organization
• Oversee and report on project status, delegate assignments against defined schedules and milestones.
• Communicate complete and timely status reports to Sr. Leadership

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or related preferred
• 5+ years of experience in SRE or equivalent roles in medium to large organizations
• 2+ years of people leadership experience in medium to large organizations
• History of effective hiring and providing mentorship and growing teams/team members
• History of driving and completing successful complex technical projects
• Experience in Fintech is considered a plus
• Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux Systems administration and networking fundamentals
• Working knowledge of implementing Observability and Alerting tools (eg Datadog, Splunk)
• Working knowledge automation and tools such as (but not limited to) Jenkins, Chef, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc.
• Working knowledge of cloud services, AWS preferred
• Experience in designing, creating and supporting Automation (PowerShell, Python, Shell)
• Expert level understanding of interdependencies between various infrastructure components 
• Practical understanding of implementing SLOs and SLIs
• Technical certifications are a plus (AWS, security related for example)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs, considering automation, availability, performance, scale, and cost.
• Ability to adapt and embrace change and support business strategy and vision
• Ability to communicate and present clearly and confidently to senior leaders
