Required: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Security Clearance

Job Description:

• Serve as a Network Engineer
• Provide design, implementation, planning, and security engineering for networks
• Evaluate and resolve network and processor problems using network analysis tools
• Identify and provide solutions for potential issues in the production environment
• Evaluate network performance using hardware and software diagnostic tools
• Evaluate network changes for operational impact
• Participate in designing, planning and installation of new networks and hardware
• Make security recommendations for approval of major network installations
• Prepare milestone, status reports, and deliveries/presentations
• Work with technical teams and ensure network infrastructure meets requirements
• Document network issue resolution, changes, and infrastructure
• Enhance LAN-, WAN-, and investigate Internet-related connectivity issues
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new computer network equipment
• Analyze current products and recommend changes/upgrades to senior management
• Engineer and re-architect network segments

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science / Network Engineering (or related career field) • 8570 Compliant / Network+ / Security+
• 6+ years of network administration and engineering experience
• Experience with Network Virtualization
• Experience with the following:

o Nvidia

o SONiC Switches

o Dell Switches and Servers

• WAN/LAN connectivity experience
• 3+ years of experience with the following

o Administering Unix systems (preferably Linux).

o Cisco and Palo Alto Firewalls

o VMware NSX and VPN technologies

o Network tracing and troubleshooting experience (Wireshark, Fiddler)
