We are seeking a skilled Environmental Engineer, Environmental Scientist, or Project Manager, with Permitting & Compliance experience to join a dynamic team. Your Role: As an Environmental Permitting & Compliance Engineer, Scientist, or Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring environmental compliance across multiple projects. You will work closely with top industry leaders and clients to manage environmental permitting, develop compliance audits, and implement monitoring programs. Your ability to oversee technical reports, permit applications, and provide on-site inspections will drive the success of our projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare permit applications and compliance programs for various environmental media, including air, wastewater, stormwater, waste, and storage tanks.
  • Perform environmental compliance audits, gap assessments, and inspections.
  • Develop and support the implementation of spill prevention and contingency plans (SPCC, SWPPP, FRP, etc.).
  • Manage project budgets, invoicing, and lead project teams with junior staff.
  • Build strong client relationships while delivering on multiple tasks within budgets and deadlines.
  • Provide field support, including site inspections and sampling.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in multimedia environmental permitting and compliance, ideally in the State
  • Certifications: PE, FE/EIT, or CHMM certification strongly preferred; 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, and multitasking abilities.
  • Client Management: Experience managing multiple clients and projects, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits; valid driver’s license required.
