Position: Mechanical Design Support Engineers

Duration: Full-time / Permanent

Salary: $120,000-$180,000 + relocation package

JOB DESCRIPTION

My client, a federally focused research and consulting firm, is looking for 2 Mechanical Design Support Engineers to support their federal customer in Indian Head, Maryland. This work is supporting a new, 5 year federal award for complete facility renovations in a complex, lab and industrial environment. Their day to day responsibilities will include technical reviews of design packages, preparing technical reports to summarize preventative maintenance status reports, and creation of long-term upgrade budgetary projections. This role is offering a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $180,000/year annually.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8+ years experience in Mechanical Design
• HVAC System Design
• AutoCAD design/drafting experience
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Federal Experience in designing buildings with specific requirements (temperature, humidity, etc.)
