Insight Global is currently hiring a Structural Designer/Drafter for an Engineering client based in the Ashland, VA area. This role will be 6 month contract-to-hire and is a junior level role. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience within architectural design and experience working in Revit. Responsibilities include foundation and framing design using steel, concrete and wood, review of contractors’ submittals, visits to construction sites, and report preparation. Project types include adaptive reuse and tenant upfit projects, industrial sites, offices, laboratories, and distribution facilities.

Must-Have

• Degree in Engineering or Architecture (or equivalent years of experience)
• 1-3 years’ experience of structural or architectural work
• Hands on experience with Revit and AutoCAD
