Position: Parent Educator (Caseworker)- Parents as Teachers Program

Caseworker will travel throughout southern Ocean County providing in home supportive services to families with children prenatal-age 5.

• Prefer applicants who are bilingual (fluent in both English and Spanish).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related field is preferred. 
• Prefer applicants who have experience working with children (0-5 years), knowledge of child development and parent-child relationships; non-judgmental and empathetic, knowledge about community resources, ability to establish boundaries while providing supportive services, and maintain confidentiality. 
• Parent Educator will be required to travel throughout southern Ocean County for home visits and must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Days: Monday-Friday- 40 hours 

Pay: $20-$22 per hour (depending on experience/degree)
