Positions Details:

The position of Senior Survey Technician includes drafting with AutoCAD and using Carlson Software for Survey for drawing our survey exhibits and reports. We really need a CARLSON POWER USER who can help use set up the Field-to-Finish with Carlson.

In addition to boundary, platting and acquisition exhibits, we do a lot of topographic mapping with Civil 3D and we extract much of our data from LiDAR point clouds. Our department is also expected to acquire the utility design plans to produce a limited SUE product based on these shop drawings combined with field surveys.

Qualifications:

• Must have extensive survey drafting experience
• Must have strong experience and knowledge with Carlson
• Previous experience setting up field to finish with Carlson is a PLUS
• Experience in leading projects independently and part of a team
• Ability to train/mentor junior staff
