CrossRoad Engineers, PC (CRE) is looking to expand its team. We are looking for an Indiana Licensed Land Surveyor or someone on that track to work mainly in the office on a variety of surveying tasks.
Surveyor Responsibilities and Duties
- Review and approve intermediate and finished work product to ensure that it meets objectives of the client; the local, state, and federal laws; and compliance with CRE’s procedures and quality assurance/control standards.
- Help re-establish alignments, property lines, and right of ways from record documents.
- Certified Boundary Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Location Control Route Survey, etc.
- Reviewing title and encumbrance reports.
- Preparation of legal descriptions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Registered Professional Land Survey in Indiana or on the track to become one.
- At least 2 years of experience in land surveying.
- Effective and professional written and oral communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD Civil3D, and Trimble Business Center software is preferred but not required to be able to perform all essential duties.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and technical and professional competence in land surveying.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects and tasks at a time.
- Familiarity with INDOT’s Right of Way Engineering manual and standards.
