Position Overview:
As an Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Amped Fitness, you will be at the heart of our mission to help others and change lives. This position is about much more than just a job—it's about relentless personal and professional development. You’ll embody the full culture of the organization, take extreme ownership, and learn the process of leading from the front. There is no timeline for growth as an AGM; it’s about out-working everyone and proving that you have the hustle and determination to thrive in a "pressure cooker" role. This “pressure cooker” term, by design, is to create leaders who will one day be our GMs, and who understand that it’s not a matter of if they will succeed, but when . These individuals do not necessarily know everything but are confident in their ability to become the best at anything that they put their mind to. Your role will require a passion for continuous development , both for yourself and for your team. You will learn the process of assisting trainers , conduct new member assessments , and create a supportive community by also training clients . Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain company culture and energy by ensuring a motivating, positive environment for both staff and members.
- Sales Strategies & Goals: Work with your General Manager (GM) to develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Learn how to analyze sales performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance profitability and member retention.
- Collaborate with the training department to ensure smooth operations, build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring top-tier service.
- Personal Training Oversight: Ensure personal training programs stay on track and support team growth.
- Sales & Prospecting: Build and grow your personal training business through client outreach, phone calls, and floor engagement. Help members on the gym floor and introduce them to personal training services.
- Personal Training: Develop tailored workout plans for clients, helping them achieve their fitness goals and improve both physically and mentally.
- Inspire and Motivate: Lead by example and bring energy to every session, ensuring clients feel supported and encouraged.
- Client Assessments: Regularly evaluate client progress, making adjustments to workout plans to ensure continued success.
- Education: Provide expert advice on fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness to help clients lead healthier lives.
- Customer Service: Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication and support.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest fitness trends and certifications to ensure you’re always offering the best to your clients.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Must hold a current personal training certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, NSCA).
- Experience: While experience is preferred, we are open to motivated newcomers eager to learn and grow with us.
- Self-Starter: You must be confident and proactive, willing to go outside your comfort zone and take initiative in growing your business.
- Passion for Fitness: A genuine desire to help others achieve their health and fitness goals.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to connect with clients and build strong relationships.

Compensation:
