Director Talent/Program Management

Compensation: $175,000 – $200,000 base + 20% bonus

Full time on site

New York City

Professional services industry strongly preferred.


Position Overview:

As the HRBP for a global leading aviation company, you will play a pivotal role in driving business objectives by partnering with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with the company’s strategic initiatives. This role will primarily be recruiting while working on HR projects and initiatives.


This role will work with the broader HR team to develop and implement strategies and process for workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management and development, employee engagement, legal compliance and employee relations, total rewards (compensation and benefits), and payroll.


The ideal candidate will be a strategic yet hands-on role requiring a dynamic, energetic leader with global HR experience, a deep understanding of operational and business needs, and the ability to deliver HR initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the leadership team to formulate, develop, implement, and evaluate HR and talent management strategies to achieve the organization’s vision, mission, and goals.


  • Develop and drive talent acquisition strategy and lead recruitment efforts for key or challenging roles including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews and extending offers


  • Drive talent management strategies to ensure alignment with business needs and employee engagement


  • Identify ways to increase staff retention and productivity, including strategies to enhance employee engagement, leadership and staff development, regular feedback and coaching, career pathing, and promoting a coherent organizational culture.


  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle from recruitment to exit, including performance management and any necessary corrective actions


  • Mitigate legal risk through proactive training and education, clear systems and processes for managing conflicts, handling complaints of harassment/discrimination, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.



Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Global experience


Skills:

  • Proven ability to build trust and strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong Talent Acquisition experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in a global position or operating in a global organization
