Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Consulting Partner with 15-18 years of experience in the Retail domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the retail industry, including emerging trends, digital transformation, omnichannel strategies, and supply chain optimization. As a Consulting Partner, you will lead client engagements, build relationships with senior executives, drive business development, and oversee the delivery of impactful solutions to help our clients achieve their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives in the retail sector, understanding their business needs and providing strategic advice and solutions.
- Strategic Consulting : Lead the development of strategic initiatives that drive business growth, optimize operations, and improve customer experiences. Advise clients on retail strategies, digital transformation, customer experience enhancements, and operational efficiency.
- Discovery sessions – Run discovery sessions for critical projects across retail clients, be hands on and solution oriented based on product principles and support building a roadmap for execution
- Business Development : Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the retail sector. Develop proposals, pitch to potential clients, and manage client relationships to expand the firm's portfolio in the retail industry.
- Thought Leadership : Stay ahead of retail trends, market developments, and emerging technologies. Share industry insights with clients and colleagues, contributing to the firm's knowledge base and thought leadership.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship : Lead and mentor junior consultants and project teams, providing guidance on client engagement, problem-solving, and professional development.
Required Qualifications :
- 15-18 years of experience in consulting, with a focus on retail and consumer goods sectors.
- Proven track record of leading high-impact consulting projects in areas such as digital transformation, omnichannel strategy, customer experience, supply chain optimization, and data analytics.
- Strong understanding of the retail landscape, including industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent client management and business development skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically while also driving actionable results.
- A track record of mentoring and developing teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Retail, Marketing, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with AI, machine learning, and analytics-driven solutions in the retail space.
- Knowledge of global retail market dynamics and the ability to apply this understanding to local market needs.
- Familiarity with retail technology platforms, ERP systems like Oracle Retail, Anaplan, and digital tools.
