Reports To: Director of Sales - Canada
Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 annually, plus bonus opportunity
You will be responsible for helping grow our retail business in Canada by supporting our Corporate Account Managers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work with the sales team to reduce overall sales cycle time and increase volume.
- Act as Retail Salesforce “Power User” and help coordinate retail needs with the Salesforce team.
- Work in conjunction with sales and external partners to onboard retail customers.
- Assist in completing customer vendor reviews.
- Execute item and supplier match ups for sales as well as new item set up.
- Proactively ensure pricing accuracy during customer/supplier transitions within retail segments.
- Navigate customer portals to ensure item data accuracy.
- Provide service level trend analysis for retail customers.
- Identify root causes and solutions to operations related customer deductions.
- Help lead process improvement to improve overall retail customer experience.
- Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma or general equivalency degree
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Superior follow up skills
- Self-starter mentality that is comfortable with ambiguity
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong analytical skills
- Canadian retail experience
- Bilingual (French)
ROLE SPECIFICS
- Travel – 2-3 nights per month. Must have the ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane or train for customer/vendor calls, training or meetings.
