We are looking for a talented, driven individuals to join our team as a Estimator/Project Manager. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the entire project lifecycle, from initial estimation and bidding through to project completion and closeout. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and financial acumen to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Estimating:
- Cost Estimation and Bidding:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for high-rise construction projects.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Conduct quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids.
- Develop competitive bid proposals.
- Cost Control and Analysis:
- Monitor project costs and identify potential cost overruns.
- Implement cost-saving measures where possible.
- Analyze project financials and provide reports to management.
- Value Engineering:
- Explore alternative construction methods and materials to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
Project Management:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of high-rise construction projects.
- Partner with Titan’s onsite team to ensure project success.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules and budgets.
- Manage project resources effectively (labor, materials, equipment).
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Risk Management and Problem Solving:
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks.
- Develop and implement solutions to address project challenges.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Foster strong relationships with site, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Conduct effective project meetings and presentations.
- Maintain clear and concise project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in high-rise construction project management and estimating.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex high-rise projects.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Proficient in estimating software and project management tools (including MS Project, Procore, MS Office, Planswift, Bluebeam)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
- Gold Seal Certification is preferred.
- Relevant construction industry certifications are an asset.
