- UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities - Under the direction of the Lead Technologist in Surgery and the Director of Radiology shall perform radiographic examinations in the surgical setting.
- Shall work with minimum supervision, expedite case work schedule with the lead technologist and insure smooth interaction amongst physician staff as well as related surgery staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology school
- Registered by the ARRT within 90 days of employment
- Licensed through the Texas Medical Board within 90 days of employment
- A minimum of 1 years’ recent experience in a clinic or healthcare setting preferred
