Job Title: Project Coordinator (High Rise Construction)

Reports To: Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

Position Details:


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our project management team in the successful execution of high-rise construction projects. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in assisting with project documentation, communication, scheduling, and administrative tasks, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.


Responsibilities:


  • Project Administration:
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of project documents (contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals).
  • Maintain organized project files and records (both physical and electronic).
  • Track and manage project submittals and approvals.
  • Assist with the preparation of meeting minutes and project reports.


  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Facilitate communication between project team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Assist with the coordination of project meetings and site visits.
  • Track and follow up on action items and deliverables.


  • Scheduling and Cost Control:
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of project schedules.
  • Track project costs and provide updates to the Project Manager.
  • Assist with the procurement of materials and equipment.


  • Quality Control and Safety:
  • Assist with the implementation of quality control measures.
  • Monitor site safety and report any concerns to the Project Manager.


  • Other Duties:
  • Provide general administrative support to the project team.
  • Assist with project closeout procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.


Qualifications:


  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, preferably in high-rise construction.


  • Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.


  • Software:
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is an asset.
