As a Project Manager – Civil, you’ll lead transformative projects across Ontario, from climate resilience initiatives to cutting-edge civil infrastructure and mining operations.

This role will focus on overseeing a variety of projects:

• Earthworks & Civil Infrastructure: Landfill construction & capping, excavation, soil management, and more.

• Climate Resiliency: Flood protection, stormwater management infrastructure, habitat construction, and erosion control.

• Mining: Tailings management, landfill construction, earthen dams, and aggregate production.

What You will Do:

• Plan, execute, and oversee projects to meet/exceed client expectations and company financial targets.

• Manage budgets, schedules, safety requirements, and field operations.

• Prepare and manage documentation, permits, purchase orders, and change orders.

• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.

• Identify new business opportunities and prepare bids, quotes, and cost estimates.

• Ensure all projects exceed QM’s Health and Safety Policies and Programs.

• Maintain a secure and compliant worksite at all times.


WIN

What you bring to the table:

• At least 5 years in project management or site supervision in environmental or civil construction.

• Strong background in client interaction, business development, and subcontractor management.

• Proven expertise in heavy equipment utilization and project cost estimation.

• Degree in Earth Sciences, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

• Professional Engineer or Certified Engineering Technologist designation (an asset).

• Health and Safety certifications are a plus.

• Deep understanding of environmental legislation, engineering design processes, and heavy equipment usage.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Project, Excel, and financial accounting software.
