About the Role:

Utilizing SQL and sound financial knowledge and experience, this role will be responsible for performing financial forecasting and budgeting to support decision making and business planning for the FP&A team. The ability to analyze large data sets is essential to the success of this role, as well as the ability to develop, test and maintain architectures on large scale processing systems.

Key Accountabilities:

• Reporting to the Manager, FP&A, and will perform financial forecasting and budgeting to support business planning and decision-making processes.
• Develop financial models, forecasts and budgets costing models/ scenario analysis models to analyze profitability using data analysis tools.
• Compile, analyze and distribute summary information relating to KPIs and other metrics.
• Summarize complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, variances and opportunities.
• Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems.
• Design and optimize SQL queries for performance efficiency.
• Utilize SQL to manage big data, and identify script errors
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience SQL
• Minimum of 1 year experience within finance (FA/ SFA)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite software and Windows operating systems
• Proficiency in SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Studio
• Proficiency with financial analysis software, databases and data warehouse
• Familiarity with data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau)
