Job Description
  • This role is essential for maintaining smooth clinic functionality by supervising staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care and workflows.
  • You will play a key part in supporting our mission to improve community health.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee clinic operations, including physician and on-call scheduling, staff supervision, and patient care coordination to ensure a quality, effective patient experience.
  • Policy and Training Development: Establish and uphold clinic policies, lead staff training programs, and cultivate a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage departmental budgets, control operational expenses, identify opportunities for cost savings, and increase revenue generation always keeping the patient in mind.
  • Patient Satisfaction: Provide Leadership that ensures providers and staff keep the patient experience at the forefront of all they do. Address any patient concerns with professionalism and tact to achieve the best possible outcome.
  • Quality Improvement Initiatives: Lead and monitor quality improvement projects aligned with healthcare standards and regulatory compliance to enhance quality and patient safety.


Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associates degree in business or health administration or a related field.


Experience:

  • Three to five years of management experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in outpatient or rural health clinics. Must have a solid background in staff management, physician relationships, and maintaining clinic policy and service standards.
  • Demonstrated skills in team management, process improvement, and effective communication across all levels of an organization.
  • Proven ability to manage complex scheduling needs, including physician assignments and on-call rotations to ensure comprehensive patient coverage.
  • Familiarity with healthcare quality metrics and regulatory standards, with hands-on experience implementing and overseeing quality improvement projects.
  • Experience managing budgets, analyzing financial performance, and finding efficiencies while delivering high-quality patient services.
  • Ability to manage the delivery of high quality, effective patient care and address patient concerns professionally, collaborating with relevant departments to improve patient care and satisfaction.
  • Strong aptitude for optimizing workflows, encouraging cross-department mental collaboration and fostering a supportive environment for staff growth.
  • Must possess or obtain an Arizona DPS fingerprint clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems.
  • Knowledge of CMS and AHCCCS insurance processes.
