Johnny Pistolas, a high-energy Mexican cantina located in the vibrant Adams Morgan neighborhood, is looking for passionate and skilled Bartenders to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for crafting creative cocktails, we'd love to meet you!

• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming and engaging experience for every guest.
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including signature cocktails, tequila, and mezcal-focused beverages.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working order.
• Process guest orders promptly and accurately, adhering to proper portion control and presentation standards.
• Educate guests about Johnny Pistolas’ menu offerings, including cocktails, wines, beers, and food pairings.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of alcoholic beverages and responsible service practices.
• Collaborate with the bar team to innovate and create seasonal or special event drinks.

• 0-1 years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
• Knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, and Mexican spirits (tequila and mezcal knowledge is a big plus!).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure during busy shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a current alcohol server’s certification or the ability to obtain one.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
