Are you a driven, hospitality-focused leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences? The Rustic Canyon Family is seeking a General Manager to join our restaurant group. This role is responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations, ensuring alignment with our business plan, and leading a team to exceed expectations in every aspect of service.

Responsibilities

As General Manager, you’ll:

Customer Satisfaction
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and address any concerns proactively.
  • Hire and train high-quality team members to ensure consistent guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain restaurant quality, service, and cleanliness standards (QSC).
Team Development
  • Train and empower employees in food and beverage knowledge, operational procedures, and customer service.
  • Conduct regular employee reviews and provide opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure all team members are aligned with RC Family’s mission, policies, and procedures.
Business Operations
  • Maximize financial performance through effective labor and resource management.
  • Organize supplies and maintain non-food inventories.
  • Manage menu updates, special event menus, and online menu presence in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
  • Develop additional revenue opportunities, including takeout, catering, and special events.
Compliance and Safety
  • Enforce labor laws and food safety standards.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and guests.
  • Serve as a role model in all aspects of business and personnel management.
RequirementsEducation and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
  • 3–5 years of management experience (restaurant experience preferred).
  • Strong communication skills; bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Current Manager Level Food Handlers Permit.
Additional Requirements
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, with flexibility for restaurant needs.
  • Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Professionalism
  • Attire should align with the venue's tone and reflect professionalism.
