Work Status: Full-time, Combination of in person & work from home/community, dictated by clients and program needs
Salary Range: $64,000 --- $80,000 --- $96,000
Brief Summary of the Position :
Under the direction of the Behavior Support Services (BSS) Director, the Licensed Clinician will conduct functional behavior assessments, write behavior support plans, train teams on how to implement the plan, and ensure effective implementation and intervention for adults on the autism spectrum.
Essential Functions:
30% Direct Contact: Meeting with clients and teams to identify behavioral needs. Conducting functional behavior assessments including indirect assessment, direct assessment, and functional analysis. Working directly with clients on goals in their behavior plans.
30% Administrative Duties: Writing functional behavior assessments, writing behavior support plans, and communication with parents and teams. Submitting documentation and billing to director for services provided. The client must have BSS funding approved by DDA prior to beginning assessment, and the clinician may work with the client’s team and Operations Manager to complete all required paperwork. The clinician will be responsible for securing necessary consent and signatures from the Quality Assurance committee, individuals, guardians, and team, as well as checking and responding to communications (email, phone calls, texts) within 24 hours.
30% Training and Mentoring: The clinician will train all stake holders to implement behavior support plans. They will conduct IOA for behavioral data collection and collect/review procedural integrity data to ensure plans are being implemented with fidelity. They may conduct individual and group supervision sessions with BCBA, Social Work students, and RBT’s (if applicable).
10% Analysis: Reviewing behavior data, skill data, and assessment results. This will also occur during administrative, training, and mentoring duties as well.

Required Education/Certifications/Experience* :
Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Social Work, Psychology, or related field. Must have current licensures to provide BSS (BCBA & LBA, LCSW, or licensed clinical psychologist). Must have at least 3 years of experience working with the autism/IDD population. CPR and First Aid Certifications. Driver’s License and vehicle required. Background check and drug screen required before hired and paid for and scheduled by Itineris.
Preferred Education/Certifications/Experience :
Experience with supervising up-and-coming clinicians (e.g., has requirements set by the BACB to supervise students), excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience with Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), experience with behavioral leadership and organizational behavior management. Experience with crisis management, verbal de-escalation, and a variety of evidenced-based interventions to serve the entire autism spectrum. Experience with implementing ABA-based interventions in a community setting. Strongly prefer a specialization in behavioral treatments for mental-health diagnoses commonly co-occurring with autism (e.g., adapting CBT to treat OCD for adults on the spectrum, PTSD, anxiety disorders, etc.).
Additional Required Skills :
Microsoft Excel and Word skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task are necessary. Must excel at building relationships with staff and clients, be respectful of all individuals and perspectives, and aligned with the Itineris mission and values.
*DDA mandated training provided by Itineris once hired. The clinician must also be trained in all chapters of MANDT (up to advanced), and this training will be provided by Itineris once hired.
