Loan Officer Assistant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant to support our team of experienced loan officers. This role is essential in ensuring smooth loan processing and excellent customer service .
Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of loan applications, documents, and correspondence.
- Prepare and process loan documentation, including loan packages, closing documents, and other necessary paperwork.
- Schedule appointments and meetings with clients and other stakeholders.
- Manage and organize files, both physical and digital.
- Client Support:
- Assist clients with inquiries, questions, and concerns related to their loan applications.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and keeping them informed throughout the loan process.
- Collect and verify required documentation from clients.
- Loan Processing:
- Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
- Input data into loan origination systems.
- Track loan progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate with underwriters, closers, and other team members to facilitate the loan process.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed mortgage originator
- 3+ years experience required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of loan origination systems and industry regulations.
