Loan Officer Opportunity – Central Wisconsin

Key Responsibilities:
- Loan Processing (20%) : Conduct interviews, gather member information, underwrite transactions, prepare loan documents, and facilitate closings.
- Account Management (15%) : Open and close accounts, including savings, checking, HSAs, IRAs, and other financial products.
- Cross-Selling (15%) : Use your expertise to recommend loans and financial solutions tailored to member needs.
- Loan Approval (15%) : Evaluate and approve loans within established policy limits while driving branch production goals.
- Member Support (15%) : Follow up using 2-2-2 procedures and offer financial advice that truly makes a difference.
- Inquiries & Troubleshooting (10%) : Resolve internal and external queries with efficiency and professionalism.
- Compliance (5%) : Uphold policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, including the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act.
- Other Duties (5%) : Contribute to additional responsibilities as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience : Up to 2 years in consumer lending and account management.
- Education/Certifications : Must obtain an NMLS.
- Skills : Strong interpersonal skills, technological proficiency, and a knack for building trust and influencing positive outcomes.
Work Environment & Travel Requirements:
- This is an in-person role requiring regular travel to Credit Union locations in Central Wisconsin.
- Work takes place in a professional, climate-controlled office with minimal physical exertion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and delivering exceptional service.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay : $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
