Technical Report Collection Review and Inventory Management
Summary
LANL Research Library is reviewing our historical technical report collection. We need cleared workers to review our technical reports for classification and distribution levels and sort as appropriate. In addition, workers will be preparing technical reports for offsite storage. Workers may index technical reports, create inventories, enter information in library information management as well as records management systems, prepare materials for shipping, and destruct discarded materials.
Position requires an active DOE Q clearance and ability to work onsite.
Developing or fundamental professional expertise, applies Laboratory policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Utilizes standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques as recognized within the records management, archives, or library profession. Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Contributes to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives. Continually supervised during training, with regular supervision once trained. Follows established directions. Receives detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Work is reviewed for accuracy, soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and while in progress. Uses judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.
Education
Position typically requires a minimum of two years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to lift print materials and/or archival boxes up to 25 pounds.
