Job Title: Histotechnologist

Job Location: Monrovia CA

Duration: 3 months (possibilities of extension or conversion)

Shift/Time Zone : 3r shift. Tues - Sat. 12am – 8:30am

Eligibility:

U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or individuals with an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) are eligible to apply for this position

Required Skills:

• Embedding and microtomy.
• Assisting the team in a time of need. The potential to get converted.
• How many blocks will a candidate need to cut/hour and embed/hour? Cut 30 blocks an hour and embed 65 blocks an hour.

Job Details:

Summary:

• A Histotechnologist performs medical laboratory tests to aid in disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze lab results for accuracy.
• Study biological samples for chemical reactions.
• Identify and test microbial organisms.
• Conduct pharmaceutical clinical trials.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment (e.g., spectrophotometers, analyzers).
• Record and manage test data in digital systems.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving.
• Basic knowledge of diagnostics, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.

Education Requirement:

• HS Diploma (if they have the ASCP degree). AA as a minimum if they are not certified
