Our client is a top firm, seeking an IP attorney with trademark and copyright litigation experience for its practice group in Hartford, CT.

Qualifications

Day Pitney’s Intellectual Property group is seeking an associate with 2-4 years of trademark and copyright litigation experience to join our growing team in our Hartford, CT office.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of trademark and copyright litigation experience, including Lanham Act and the Copyright Act, trademark infringement, breach of contract, and breach of licensing agreements.
• Substantial discovery experience (written discovery, document production, and depositions), and research/drafting experience (pleadings and motions, etc.).
• Experience with pre-litigation brand protection and enforcement strategy (cease and desist letters).
• TTAB disputes, online trademark and copyright enforcement (preparing takedown notices and UDRP complaints), would be a plus.
• Excellent client-facing skills; team focused.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Connecticut bar admission is required; Massachusetts bar is a plus (not required).
