Position Summary

This role involves managing the integrity and profitability of wholesale insurance opportunities while soliciting new opportunities from agents and brokers. The ideal candidate will exercise independent judgment and discretion to achieve success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Market insurance submissions effectively.
• Conduct comparative coverage analysis.
• Take ownership of sector goals and product offerings.
• Manage relationships with carriers and producers to maintain strong partnerships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and market insurance submissions to meet production goals.
• Maintain submission and production reports.
• Create sector loss summaries and analysis reports.
• Support the development and improvement of insurance offerings.
• Build and maintain carrier and underwriter relationships both in-person and remotely.
• Source new carrier appointments as needed.
• Foster relationships with brokers and agents to meet production goals.
• Assist in developing business plans for potential transitions to binding authority.
• Attend conferences and trade shows as required.

Education and Experience Requirements

• College Undergraduate Degree.
• At least 7 years of insurance experience, with 5+ years in sector-related insurance marketing.
• 5+ years of experience in production or managing a book of business.
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Deep knowledge and understanding of insurance policy language and intent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure with strong attention to detail.
• Highly organized and results-driven.
• Collaborative team player.
• Proficiency with computers and industry-related software.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Comprehensive benefits package included.
