Position Overview

Our client seeks an onsite Cyber Systems Support Specialist to support the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) platform at the Cyber Schools of Excellence in Fort Walton Beach, FL . The role involves resolving end-user technical support issues, maintaining compliance with service-level standards, and leveraging databases for effective troubleshooting. Key duties include issue escalation, software and device support, user profile creation, and account maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Use Jira Service Manager tools and vSphere to monitor and optimize the PCTE platform.
• Create user accounts and resolve platform issues promptly.
• Incorporate user feedback to improve the customer experience.
• Provide support for Unclassified , Sec/REL , and Top-Secret systems.
  

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting IT, virtual environments, and networks.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective in dynamic environments.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (4 years of experience accepted in lieu of degree).
• 8570 Compliant IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP) within six months of hire.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope or CI Polygraph .
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in virtual machine and hybrid cloud environments.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting PCTE virtual environments.
• Familiarity with RHEL IdM and SSO using LDAP .
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience resolving technical issues across integrated software and hardware platforms.
