Plastics Manufacturing Maintenance Manager – Fort Worth, TX - $110k - $115k/year

Aegis Worldwide is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of blow mold and downstream equipment at our manufacturing facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for enhancing asset utilization, production efficiency, and reliability while managing and developing a skilled maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with local management to drive productivity, efficiency, and quality improvements.
• Set maintenance priorities and ensure resource alignment with plant goals.
• Oversee mold movement and act as the primary contact for mold-related activities.
• Track expenditures and labor costs, ensuring adherence to department budgets.
• Develop and implement strategies to eliminate inefficiencies, improve labor utilization, and reduce costs.
• Maintain and improve preventative maintenance programs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors on construction, installation, and repair projects to meet cost, quality, and timeline expectations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, including lockout/tagout, haz-com, and machine guarding standards.
• Actively participate in plant audits, including GMP, HACCP, and GFSI, to maintain high operational standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance professionals, fostering an environment of safety, performance, and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proven knowledge of high-production machinery and facilities management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.
