A large, established company in Spartanburg is hiring an HR Assistant to support with benefits administration and onboarding primarily. The ideal candidate presents professionally and has good administrative and technical skills. HR experience is a big plus.
This is a temp-to-hire position looking to start immediately!
Responsibilities:
- Assist employees with enrolling in and making changes to benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires
- Serve as a point of contact for employees with benefits-related inquiries, providing clear information on plan options, eligibility, and enrollment deadlines.
- Ensure that all benefits-related documents are properly filed, maintained, and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of employee benefits elections, changes, and status, entering data into HRIS systems and generating reports as needed for audits or benefits analysis.
Qualifications:
- Strong administrative skills
- Proficient in Excel and Outlook
- Present professionally
- Ability to work full-time in an office
- HR or benefits admin and onboarding experience is a plus!
- Experience with ADP is a plus!
Compensation: $18-23/hour based on HR experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
