We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our engineering team and reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This role is crucial for approving and planning work orders, ensuring efficient maintenance operations and high-quality performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Work Order Management:
· Generate work orders for routine Predictive and Preventive Maintenance (PDM & PM).
· Plan work orders for maintenance staff and create necessary purchase requisitions.
· Attach relevant tasks, Hazardous Energy Control Procedures (HECPs), flow charts, permits, and modifications to work orders.
· Prepare parts kits for work orders and ensure all raw materials are available on-site.
· Verify completion and accuracy of work orders.
Tracking and Communication:
· Monitor and update work order backlogs, maintaining ongoing communication with the shop supervisor and maintenance planner.
· Collaborate with relevant teams to prioritize work orders effectively.
· Estimate job completion times and enter data on completed work orders.
· Analyze and track actual versus estimated job times.
Reporting :
· Generate and review weekly and monthly reports from the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for management.
Qualifications :
· Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy.
· Excellent work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
· Strong interpersonal skills to engage with various departments.
· Background in project management is a plus.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Continuous improvement mindset, always seeking ways to enhance processes.
Education and Experience:
· Minimum of 7 years of planning or maintenance experience.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
