Stark & Stark is actively recruiting for a Paralega l- Personal Injury, for our Yardley, PA office. The right candidate will have the extraordinary opportunity to continue their professional development in a challenging, but collegial, environment.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and drafting discovery demands and responses, and other legal documents.
- Correspondence and communication with defense counsel, clients, and others relevant parties.
- Managing project timelines, and performing legal research
- Working with clients, addressing issues as to medical treatment and temporary disability.
- Preparing cases for court, limited drafting pleadings, discovery demands and responses and other legal documents.
- Trial preparation.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Plaintiff’s Personal Injury matters REQUIRED, with practical knowledge of litigation in Personal Injury, for example, auto and truck accident, etc.…
- Detail oriented.
- The individual should be well organized and able to see an assignment through to completion when given proper direction.
- The right candidate will have a minimum 5 years of experience.
- A comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook are REQUIRED.
- Ability to read, write and speak in Spanish is a plus.
- Paralegal Certificate or associate degree required.
