Position Overview

As a Junior Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our design team while also stepping into responsibilities that require independence and initiative. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop your skills, and grow within a supportive environment that values creativity, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit.

** The position will be part time for the first 3-5 months, it will be converted to a full time position after the initial time period.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and execution of high-end interior projects, from concept development to final installation.
• Collaborate with the design team in montreal and the company founder to create mood boards, layouts, and presentations.
• Source materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with project requirements and client preferences.
• Manage smaller projects independently, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Actively participate in business development efforts, including client outreach, networking, and maintaining relationships with key industry partners.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and Italian luxury furniture brands.
• Contribute to the seamless coordination between clients, suppliers, and contractors.
• Assist the company founder 
• Meet clients and suppliers at our little river Miami office
• Assist the company founder with daily tasks and strategic initiatives to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate daily or as necessary with the design team in Montreal to maintain alignment and collaboration
• Prepare and provide daily updates on office activities, ensuring clear communication of ongoing situations and occurrences.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in interior design, with a portfolio that showcases your creativity and or technical skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks and projects independently.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to contribute to business development activities.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools.
• A passion for luxury interiors and a keen interest in Italian furniture brands.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A desire to grow with a company and commit to a long-term career path.
• This is not a remote position, a presence at the CVC Miami location is required.
