Insight Global is seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer to join a large defense contractor for a DoD program at the Naval Base in Point Mugu, CA. The ideal candidate is comfortable working onsite and operating on a 9/80 work schedule. This engineer will ideally have 3+ years of experience working with Cloud Infrastructure and Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD). The typical annual salary range for this position is $115,000.00 to $140,000.00.

Responsibilities include:

• Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers

• Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems

• Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups

• Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access

• Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses

• May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software

• Creating and setting up automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Configure aircraft deployment pipeline and produce release charts

The ideal candidate will have a Top Secret Clearance and will have a range of 3 to 10 years of experience performing the duties described below:

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of cloud experience

• Amazon Web Site (AWS) services – particularly S3
• Cloud storage solutions and data migration processes

• 3+ years of DevOps and DevOps tools experience

• CICD pipelines agile DevOps workflow
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps

• 3+ years of containerization, orchestration, and micro-services architecture experience

• 3 years of scripting and programming experience

• Experience with Scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent
• Java, JavaScript • C+, C++, C#, ASP.NET Core, Visual Studio
• HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
• Structured Query Language (SQL) for managing and manipulating relational databases

• 3+ years of security experience

• Experience with IL6+ compliance standards and working with sensitive systems

• 3+ years of deployment and migration experience

• 3+ years of monitoring and logging experience

• 3 + years of agile methodologies experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer and organizational level communications, both formal and informal
