Position: Mid-Level .Net Developer

Location: Fully on-site 5x a week in Boca Raton

Salary: $100-$130k annually

Must Haves:

• 4-6 years of professional experience in the following:
• Strong experience with object oriented programming
• Up to date with trending technologies/industry updates (can bring knowledge into the environment)
• .NET Core Experience
• .NET Framework 4.0 and above
• JavaScript & jquery on the front end
• Restful API's
• SQL & T-SQL
• Experience with full SDLC, coding best practices
• Strong Communication/Personality
• Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities:

• Design and code individual assignments and assist team members deliver assignments
• Design and code with security best practices in mind; provide support after solution is delivered addressing production issues
• Document, Design, Develop, Test, and deliver scalable applications
• Modify and enhance existing applications
• Consult with team leaders, managers, and stakeholders to gather and review requirements, and create functional specifications
• Promote new ideas and make sound technical decisions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Day to Day:

This individual will be working for a client in the News/digital media space. They will be apart of a team of 8 people and will be joining as a Sr .NET Developer. The ideal candidate is a forward thinker and has strong experience with .NET framework & .NET Core. They will be a part of a modernization effort of the company’s current CMS where it will be upgraded with .NET Core. They will also be a part of projects involving the email subscription system among many other things. This role will be responsible for production issues, working on individual & team efforts, and will help in the design/development/testing/modifying of existing web applications.
