Our client, an industry leader, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. This position will dive deep into data analysis, showcases findings, recommends process enhancements, and will partakes in special initiatives.

This position will collaborate closely across departments and senior leaders, offering detailed financial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate financial data to provide timely and relevant recommendations to leadership, guiding informed decisions.
• Oversee monthly financial closing tasks, including crafting essential journal entries, ensuring precision and adherence to guidelines.
• Craft, monitor, and refine key financial metrics and performance indicators; spotlight trends and dissect discrepancies to effectively communicate the fiscal health of various branches.
• Collaborate with the operations team on forecasting, financial performance reviews, variance clarifications, and cost assessments.
• Offer intricate financial analysis of actual expenditure, shedding light on patterns, potential investment zones, and avenues for financial optimization, thereby facilitating smarter decision-making.
• Handle on-demand reports and analysis.
• Execute additional responsibilities as deemed necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• 3 plus years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or modeling.
• Robust skills in data analytics and extraction.
• Ability to make informed decisions semi-independently, with occasional guidance from superiors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must; familiarity with MS Access or analogous database tools is a plus.
• An analytical mindset, with an aptitude for distilling complex data into comprehensible insights.
