They are looking for a Junior Accountant who will assist with day-to-day financial operations and contribute to the accuracy of the company’s financial records.This is an onsite position based in New Haven County, CT.

Junior Accountant’s Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and deposits.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Junior Accountant’s Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (internship experience is a plus).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
