Swoon is hiring a Treasury Operations Specialist for our top client in NY!

• 6 month contract with strong potential to extend/ convert
• If local to NY or NJ, hybrid 1x/week preferred, if not local fully remote

• A leading financial company ranking 16th in largest total assets for commercial banking providing a combination of sector expertise, local knowledge and mid-market focus throughout the U.S. and provides a broad range of personal banking products and solutions through over 650 branches

What will I be doing in this role?

• Operational Expertise: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of Fixed Income operations, including back-office and middle-office processes.
• Trade Desk Support: Provide essential support to the trade desk, ensuring smooth execution and timely settlement of transactions.
• System Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in Broadridge systems and SQL to optimize operational efficiency and data analysis.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Problem-Solving: Analyze complex issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including traders, operations teams, and technology teams.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.

What is required?

• 3+ years in treasury operations
• Fixed income experience
• Repurchase Agreement experience
• Operational experience in a back-office or middle-office environment

What would be nice?

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Prior experience in SQL
• Prior experience in banking organization
• Prior experience in Broadridge systems
• Prior experience in enterprise organization
