Position Summary:

The Finance Business Partner for Sales & Marketing serves as a strategic advisor, delivering financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive performance and inform decision-making. This role bridges the gap between finance and the Sales & Marketing teams, enabling data-driven strategies that support revenue growth, operational efficiency, and market expansion. The ideal candidate excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and demonstrates a strong ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver detailed financial analyses to business leaders, including P&L statements, variance analyses, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor financial performance against KPIs.
  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for assigned business units.
  • Partner with leaders to set realistic financial goals and identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop and evaluate strategies to optimize revenue, reduce costs, and enhance profitability.
  • Provide financial modeling for business initiatives, investments, and strategic projects.
  • Act as the primary finance point of contact for assigned departments, fostering a collaborative relationship between finance and operations.
  • Communicate complex financial information in a clear, concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ensure financial practices comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support audits and implement improvements to strengthen financial controls.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, business partnering, or related roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, including Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across functions and levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
