Adecco is assisting a customer in Windsor who is recruiting for a Procurement Assistant.nnThe Sourcing Assistant is responsible for assisting the Sourcing Supervisor with daily duties innnconjunction with running the Purchasing Department, including purchasing, expediting purchasennorders, tracking production jobs, updating job trackers, vendor acknowledgements and othernnmiscellaneous tasks.nnESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESnn? Purchasing, including both distribution and work in-process (WIP)nn? Assures all purchase orders have correct pricing, part numbers and required dates.nn? Assures all purchase orders are acknowledged by the factory and acknowledged dates arennentered into Trulinx.nn? Enters purchase orders on vendor websites.nn? Regularly assists Sourcing Supervisor with analyzing inventory levels.nn? Expedites vendor purchase orders.nn? Processes Return Material Authorizations (RMA).nn? Communicates with vendors for special price quotes.nn? Updates the job tracker.nn? Updates and maintains the Streamline production tracker.nn? Assists in organization and implementation of annual inventory count.nn? Assists in maintaining Approved Supplier List (ASL)nn? Assists other Managers with various duties as needed.nn?
