P-DPD-001 Our client is looking to hire a Sales Professional to join their sales team. Individuals will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders, and deliveries, and provide support for sales representatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNED TASKS - Respond to inquiries via email and phone
- Qualify sales opportunities
- Contact clients to obtain information and answer queries
- Generate sales quotes and technical price proposals
- Contribute to developing periodic sales reports
- Perform follow-ups to move opportunities through the sales funnel
- Liaise with the Engineering and Logistics groups to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate important feedback from customers internally
- Perform customer service functions
- Maintain customer records and contacts in Salesforce
- Stay current with new products and features
- Assist with tradeshow planning and generating sales/marketing materials
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS - Four-year degree in business preferred
- Demonstrated experience in sales, sales support, sales administration
- MS Office proficiency required. Experience with CRM software a major plus
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- A team player with high level of dedication
- Ability to work under strict deadlines in manner consistent with project goals and objectives
- Exercise good judgement, demonstrate effective communication skills, and work cooperatively with others in all departments
