We are seeking an experienced Alternative Funding Specialist to join our dynamic team, focusing on leveraging funding opportunities. As a key member of our Funding & Financing team, you will play a crucial role in supporting infrastructure project funding for water/wastewater, electric vehicles, energy, resiliency, etc. – ensuring our municipal and commercial clients have access to the funding they need to deliver projects as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with Funding Team to assess, plan, secure, and manage funding for critical infrastructure initiatives, with a particular emphasis on projects and clients in California and/or Florida.Evaluate and analyze various funding sources, including federal, state, and local programs, to develop tailored funding strategies.Lead the preparation and submittal of grant and loan applications.Provide strategic guidance to clients on aligning project objectives with funding program priorities.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including state agencies, regulators, and funding administrators.Stay updated on evolving regulations and funding opportunities at the state and federal levels.Collaborate with internal teams to integrate alternative funding solutions into project proposals and service offerings.Preferred Qualifications5+ years of experience in infrastructure funding and financing, with a strong focus on California and/or Florida funding programs.In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local funding programs relevant to infrastructure projects.Direct experience with grant administration.Proven track record in successfully securing grants, loans, and other funding sources for infrastructure projects.Familiarity with the regulatory environment and funding landscape specific to California and/or Florida.Experience in preparing and presenting technical information related to infrastructure funding.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.Minimum QualificationsA minimum total of 5 years of related work experience is typically necessary to move into this level.
