Summery:
The AGM at The Django will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day Food & Beverage operation with a solid focus on front of house operations and management of the entire guest experience. Experience with all elements of service and training as well as the administrative responsibilities of budgeting, staffing, hiring, and controlling department expenses are imperative.
Descending into The Django you’ll feel like you’ve entered another world. Located in The Roxy Hotel this subterranean jazz club, with its vaulted ceilings and exposed brick walls, was modeled after the boîtes of Paris. The venue consists of two cocktail bars, open dining space and a stage for live performances. The Django offers crafted cocktails and dinner plates, all partnered with a brilliant entertainment lineup. We employ a close-knit group of natural-born entertainers, supreme go-getters and masters of hospitality. All that and we haven't even gotten to the benefits package yet.
Responsibilities include:
Floor presence, ensuring service standards are consistent
Training and evaluating team members in their roles
Conducting effective pre-shifts
Building strong rapport with guests
Requirements:
Energetic and detail-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills
Must be able to work evenings shifts and weekendsMust have working knowledge of Resy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with knowledge of Excel and Word are required
Able to work effectively with all department managers
An interest in style, music, fashion, art, and/or or dining and nightlife (pertaining to NYC)
