Job Overview: Our client is looking to hire a skilled Civil Engineer. The ideal candidate will support all areas of civil engineering design, from initial concept development through to the completion of final construction documents. The successful applicant will have extensive experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and will be capable of obtaining registration in every state where required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Lead and support the development of civil engineering design concepts for various projects, including roads, drainage systems, and land development.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create and modify engineering drawings, plans, and models. Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including coordinating with other engineers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed construction documents, including plans, specifications, and reports. Review and approve design work for compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, planners, and other professionals to integrate civil engineering designs into broader project plans.
• Compliance and Regulation: Ensure that all designs and construction documents adhere to local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of engineering standards and codes.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve engineering challenges that arise during the design and construction phases. Provide innovative solutions to complex problems.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management. Proven experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
• Licensing: Ability to obtain registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in all states where required. Current PE license is preferred.
