Position: R&D Engineer II
Location: Maple Grove, MN
Pay: $ 34 -$39.75 per hour

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 2-4 years of experience.
-Strong engineering fundamentals, conflict resolution experience, and problem-solving skills.
-Demonstrated ability to develop and drive creative, innovative solutions for both processes and products.
-Demonstrated cross-functional teamwork and collaboration in a technically demanding environment.
-Open to travel up to 10% of the time which may include vendor visits, supplier visits, or conferences.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with various extruded processes and working with polymers like Pebax, Nylon, PEEK, and Urethanes.
- Ability to develop equipment/fixtures from concept to production and use DFSS tools (DOE, problem solving).
- Familiarity with extrusion inputs and their impact on outputs.
- Strong understanding of statistics and experience with statistical analysis software.
- Experience in a regulated industry, technical project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Day To Day:
This Process Engineer II position involves supporting process development and product commercialization across the internal global plant network. The role requires leading the development of complex technologies for new products, driving new business activities, and ensuring efficient product transfer into production. Responsibilities include partnering with R&D, providing Design for Manufacturability input, innovating processes and tooling, overseeing development builds, and ensuring proper documentation. The ideal candidate will solve technical problems both independently and in teams, working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
