Summary

The Quality Control Lead is responsible for selecting proper packaging and label samples for further production for outside delivery.

Key Activities

• Highly motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and comfortable with overall Manufacturing workflow, working in an effective manner
• Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Advanced communication skills are required
• Communicate quality issues to appropriate personal resolution
• Understand the ANSI Inspection requirement process.
• Excellent understanding of quality requirements, tolerances, and quality inspection processes.
• Effective problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy/consistency
• Have an advanced knowledge of computers (knowledge of PSI and/or Prestige is a plus)
• Meet company and departmental standards, including Customer Requirements, Compliance, Safety, Quality, etc.
• Able to use a densitometer, spectrophotometer, paper caliper, etc.
• Follow ISO Quality Procedures and Work Instructions, and complete forms and checklists as Necessary.
• Follow policies outlined in the company handbook.
• Work extended hours, as business needs dictate.

Preferred Skills

• BS/AA or College coursework preferred.
• Managerial supervisor or coaching experience is preferred and desired.

Educations & Experience

• High school graduate/GED
• Minimum of 4 Years in a similar QC position.
• Knowledge of complete Microsoft Office 365 suite, Acrobat Pro, PSI/MIS/ERP, and Prestige for Scheduling.
